Coming Together to Cope with COVID-19: Keep it Movin’!

Today we’re offering some fun resources for  exercise . It’s never been easier or more convenient to work out (perhaps  in  your pajamas?)  in  your living room. No matter your favorite type of exercise, we have compiled some great resources below that will help you feel better! YOGA
Yoga with Adriene  offers many different free yoga videos on her YouTube channel for all levels and all bodies. Her theme for the month of April is Nurture.

Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health  (located  in  the Berkshires) is starting a $20/month membership for unlimited yoga, meditation and top faculty talks. Add your name to the list to be notified when it goes live.

DANCE
Healthline  compiled the best dance video workouts of 2019, and we agree there are some great ones listed! From Zumba to Carribean Dance, Belly Dancing to Hip Hop, it’s all here!

STRENGTH TRAINING
The original strength & cardio interval workout,  Barry’s  is offering a free 20-minute, high-energy workout every day on their Instagram page.

Muscle and Strength  has hundreds of free workout videos focused on building strength, toning and sports performance.


VARIETY
Peloton  is offering a free 90-day trial of their workout app! And it’s not only cycling–they have strength training, yoga, treadmill workouts and much more.

Fitness Blender  lets you choose your type of workout–from strength training to HIIT to pilates, plus what kind of equipment you have at home–and delivers a free, high-quality workout right to your screen.

Apparel brand Bandier  is hosting free workouts every day at 4pm on their Instagram page. They feature everything from dance to boxing, so you’ll never be bored!

 

AND IF YOU THINK YOU’RE “TOO OLD” TO WORK OUT…
this woman  will prove you are NOT!

Lastly, check out local gyms  in  your area, or the one(s) you may currently belong to. Many gyms and fitness centers are offering their members free streamed workouts to keep you moving!
